I love using Johnny Griffith’s Rich Starting Points with A-Level groups; they are self differentiating by outcome and any KS5 student can get something out of getting their teeth into them.
During our INSET recently we were given some AFL training. The first part focused on the layout of classrooms and how pupils interpret this.
I’ve put together an idea for a project to use with 9A focusing on the solar system. We’ve recently covered Standard Form and I wanted pupils to have the opportunity to work as a team on a project which would give them the opportunity to pull together lots of different Maths skills.
